A food scientist studies food

They look at:


  • texture,taste
  • causes of food going off/bad
  • Making new foods 
  • Best ways to package food 
  • Shelf life(how long the food will last 
  • Evaluate the food
  • interaction of ingredients used 
  • improving/changing flavours 
  • affect of bacteria
  • ways to preserve food 





Making Sherbet 

  • 1/4 cup icing sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon raro
  • 1/4 teaspoon citric acid 
  • 1/4 teaspoon tartric acid
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda


  • Add all the ingredints
  • Mix
  • Enjoy




Evaluation 

I enjoyed the sherbets flavours (I used orange flavoured raro) Sometimes it was too sour for my liking but i enjoyed it very much.
