Making a Mask.

Aim: To make a mask.


Equipment list

  • Play-dough 
  • Paper (Ripped in shreds)
  • Glue (Made out of the flour and water)
  • Water 
  • Flour 
  • Model
  • Beaker 
Things to consider 
  • How we are going to make it
  • How much play-dough we use 
  • How to take the mask off 
  • How thick and thin the play-dough we apply is 
  • How thick the glue is
  • How big the shreds are that we use are 
  • How the model feels

Method 

GLUE

  1. Put the 200mls of flour into a bowl or ice-cream container.
  2. Add in 150mls of water mix together until thick like honey  
  3. Ta-daa!! You have glue
MASK 

  1. Get your play-dough ready
  2. Rip your paper into shreds that are smallish 
  3. You will need to cover some ones face in play-dough so it covers the face completely 
  4. After you cover the face take the mask off slowly making sure that you don't crack it
  5. Put glue onto the front
  6. Put the ripped paper onto the glue making sure that you cover the play-dough completely 
  7. Allow it to dry and then you can paint it at your own free will
