What are forces?
Lift,thrust,drag and weight

Why are forces important?

Forces are important because they are what we use daily e.g Man pushing a box-pushing is a force,Man pulling a tyre-pulling is a force    

Plane 

Thrust pushes the plane forward 

Lift pulls it up

Gravity/Weight pulls it down 

Drag pushes it backwards

Paper Planes

History of paper planes

Paper planes were first thought to be made over 2000 years ago. The Ancient Chinese were the first ones to make them. The first ones made were made out of papyrus. 

Paper Plane designs 

1. The Traditional paper plane-The Traditional paper plane is made with 6 folds in the paper. These folds make wings. I think it will meet the requirements because it has wings and the shape is good.
2. Dart paper plane-I think it will meet the requirements needed because It is sleek and straight.I has a good shape and a good size so I thin it will be good for flying
3. Nakamura lock plane-This plane is a lot bigger and a lot wider.It may not fly as well as the others but it looks as it will fly farther. I think it will be okay but not great for flying.
